Best Croissants in Melbourne!

OMG, just shooting through a quick post!

The best croissants I’ve ever had. I heard of this a while ago from a friend and only recently did I get to try some. I had a wonderful dinner the night before to celebrate my 30th. We drank a bottle of bubbly. Cried. Laughed. Swore. Talked. Screamed. Ate. Drank.

Before we knew it, it was 11.40PM! I was shocked!

Anyway… so we decided to wake up early the next morning and line up at Lune (29 Scott Street, Elwood, off Tennyson Street Elwood) to try these delicious croissants there were OH-SO-GOOD.

We got there Friday morning at 7.25AM, got the 18th and 19th ticket, waited about 30 minutes in line and this is what we got:

Beautiful Croissants from Lune in Elwood. L to R:

Beautiful Croissants from Lune in Elwood. L to R: Basic Croissant (so crispy), Chocolate croissant, Cruffin, Almond and chocolate croissant, this baked goodness that I can’t remember the name ad a ham and cheese croissant.

OMG. They looked sooooo goood. Just look at all the layers of goodness.

Here’s another photo.

Look at the layers of this bad boy. *CRUNCH*

Enough food porn for ya??

I did it the Asian way – cutting a slice of eat one and trying them all in the morning before getting home and sleeping.

*Contento*

They open 7.30AM Friday morning and 8.00AM on weekends (they have twice baked croissants on the weekend, PANDANG GANACHE?? WTF??? YUMM!!!)

Oh, they close when they run out of croissants… and they are really limited. Like.. Really… Really.. Limited.

My suggestion is pop by on Friday when there’s a whole bunch of neighbours who’s happy to buy two croissants and a cup of coffee (yes they only have coffee and nothing more).

Now I feel really buttered and sugared. Mmmm.

PS – Big news tomorrow! 😀
