I Donated My Hair!
Yes, I finally did it
I did tell people that I was going to donate my hair. I figured that if I was getting annoyed with it and was not really wanting it any more, why not give it to someone else who needs it.
Inspired by @AprilAthena7 from her @AprilJustinTV videos, I decided to cut 29cm (all of my hair) and donated it to “Pantene Beautiful Lengths” in Australia (@beautifullengths). I sent off the package today (yes I mourned my hair for a week).
The last “event” I was at with my long hair. Yes that’s me as Nicki Minaj! lol
I actually cut my hair last week but decided to keep it a secret (unless you are on my LinkedIn). I wasn’t comfortable sharing my hair yet because it was so short!! I wasn’t used to it. I didn’t know how to style it. Finally, after a week of 5 minute hair washes and 10 minute hair dos – I’m ready to share with you all what I did and how I did it.
Enjoy the video and my story…
If you wanted to donate your hair as well, make sure you check out the website for instructions. You must make sure your hair is healthy, conditioned, clean and dry before you make the chop!
Here’s the hair:
It takes 5 bunches of hair to make one wig. All you need is 20cm (8 inches). If you have some hair to spare, why not donate it!
I’ll see y’all soon lovelies. Take care and thanks for your support!
